About Manclass

Practical manhood — skills, judgment, and the useful version of getting things done.

What we do

Manclass is a field manual for being a more capable man — practical, specific, and honest about its sources. Every article is either researched from primary sources you can check or reported firsthand, never recycled filler.

We focus on practical skills and judgment for capable men — fitness, building with AI, the outdoors, money, coaching, and hands-on skills. Every page on manclass.co is built from primary sources — official rules, manuals, studies, and spec sheets — cited in each piece, plus clearly-marked firsthand reporting, cited and linkable so readers can trace any number back to its source.

Who runs this

Manclass is built and maintained by the Tim Adair. We're a small group working on making public practical skills and judgment for capable men — fitness, building with AI, the outdoors, money, coaching, and hands-on skills data easier for non-specialists to read. If you have a correction, a data tip, or a question about how a number was derived, the contact email below reaches us directly.

Who this is for

Manclass is built for capable men in their 30s to 50s who would rather get the useful, well-sourced version than read another recycled listicle.

Why this exists

Public data on practical skills and judgment for capable men — fitness, building with AI, the outdoors, money, coaching, and hands-on skills is technically free, but practically locked behind file formats, acronyms, and paywalled dashboards. Manclassexists to close that gap: take the raw federal and public-sector data, and turn it into pages a normal person can read in thirty seconds.

How we work

  • Primary source only. We pull from primary sources — official rules, manuals, studies, and spec sheets — cited in each piece, plus clearly-marked firsthand reporting and cite the exact dataset and version on every page.
  • No invented numbers. If a figure is not in the underlying public data, it does not appear on manclass.co. We never generate synthetic statistics to fill gaps.
  • Methodology, in plain English. Every article is researched from primary sources — government agencies, official standards bodies, and published studies — and written in a plain, practical voice. Each draft passes an editorial gate that checks for specificity, cited sources, and banned filler before an editor signs off on the final point of view and line edit. Firsthand pieces are reported from real experience and clearly distinguished from researched guidance; nothing fabricates experience it did not have.
  • Refreshed on a schedule. Published on a rolling basis; existing pieces are revisited when the underlying guidance or sources change.
  • Corrections welcome. Readers flag issues all the time. When the source fixes a record, Manclass follows.

How our content is produced

Manclass is founded and edited by Tim Adair, who writes its faith and firsthand pieces from his own experience. Researched guides are produced by the Manclass editorial team from primary sources you can check, clearly labeled as such, with an editor owning the final synthesis, point of view, and line edit. No experience is ever fabricated.

Known limitations

This is practical guidance and researched information, not professional advice. Manclass is not a doctor, a licensed financial adviser, or a certified coach. Where the stakes are health, money, or safety, confirm with a qualified professional.

Independence

Manclass is an independent publication. We are not funded, owned, or directed by any of the agencies, companies, or organizations that appear in our data. The site is free to read and carries no display advertising — see our Privacy Policy for how data is handled — and we do not take paid placements, sponsored rankings, or “remove-my-entry” fees.

Editorial standards

We hold every page to a stated, repeatable process rather than asking readers to take our word for it. How our content is produced and the standards behind it are documented in our Editorial Policy; how we verify figures before publishing is in our Fact-Checking Policy; and how we handle mistakes is in our Corrections Policy.

History

Manclass launched in 2026 as part of a small portfolio of independent public-data sites. It has been maintained and updated continuously since.
